I started volunteering with Honor Flight Maine in the summer of 2022 after talking with a coworker about the organization. I’ve helped with send off events as well as welcome home events. In February 2025 I was voted as Secretary, Board of Directors.
My grandfather was a World War II veteran and a Purple Heart recipient. He instilled in me the importance of giving back to the service men and women who fought for my freedoms.
My favorite memory with Honor Flight Maine is when I was able to be my dad’s guardian for his Honor Flight trip. The memories that I made during this trip of a lifetime with my dad will be something that I will forever treasure.
